Hi! I am a Professor of Sociology at UNC-Charlotte. My MA (1987) and my PhD are from the University of Washington (1992). I teach introduction to sociology, methods, statistics, gender, population dynamics, sometimes other things. My research interests are in applications of evolutionary theory to sociological issues, and comparative and historical sociology.
